I have several issues to mention and appreciate any help and opinions.
Ruby template
1. If you check the demo page there is a “testimonial” module. If I want to create such module with the appropriate _testimonial suffix it is not working. What did Joomlart guys answered me when I was asking for support: “use the quick start package to install ruby.”
Sorry, this is no help at all. I am definitely not the only one with an excisting joomla installation on its server and with at least some of excisting content. Why do I have to overwrite everything just for a module desgin which should to be created as easily as the other modules? For example the creation of the hilite module is no problem at all.2. Menu at the bottom as seen on the ruby demo page: I was not able to create a menu at this position, I tried every position available in the module position list. What is the problem here?
It is not my first Joomlart template, but the problems are always the same I experience. Slow answer and sometimes not really helpful.
Another point: I read a thread about the bottom problem of JA Ruby written from jbrowdy. If the content is not “long” enough there is only a white page following the footer bar. This is also a problem I would like to solve. But the thread stopped when you at Joomlart asked him to give you access to his web page.
1.: Could you send me the solution too?
2.: Is there any way to publish solutions anyway in the appropiate thread? I am sure that other members would be interested too. And it would prevent you at Joomlart from support requests regarding the same problem already been solved.So, I hope this was clear enough. I look forward to any help and support! 🙂

July 17, 2009 at 2:55 pm #311374I think I can help with the first problem. The testmonial module needs the _testimonial suffix but also needs a div class=bubble tag inserted into the html. If you look at the way it is set up on the demo the coding is like this.
<div class=”bubble”>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
<h3>Testimonials</h3>
Morbi rhoncus arcu egestas erat, convallis eros laoreet cubilia nulla, integer lectus sequi quisque, nunc suspendisse in a. Tellus massa non mi eget.</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<span class=”author”>J.O.O.M</span><br /> Molestie innonummy Libero</div>Give it a try. It should resolve that issue. You can just copy and paste this into the HTML source editor and change the text to what you want it to say.
I hope this helped a little bit.
