Hi there, I have tried to add a simple javascript href that looks like this: javascript:void(0)" onclick="jfbc.login.provider(‘linkedin’); into the actual href/link area of the JA builder in both the container block like you see here on an button call to action: http://recordit.co/r71erD1JIf

and also I tried adding it to the simple link in the text editor like you see here: http://recordit.co/b6c2W2tixh

In both cases it does not work as the videos above show. Any ideas on this? and if the href/link area supports javascript like a standard text editor would. Obviously this link type is used alot for tracking events in Google analytics and also in general for event tracking so its important it works with the builder of course. All of this I already tested in a standard page in joomla with the standard editor and it works perfectly as I say – just click on the word LinkedIn here and the link works fine: http://www.teamstory.co/test4

    Hi,

I got your point but with the ‘ Link’ option, builder will retrieve URL you added and pass to the href attribute, not include the onclick event as you added in article in above test page.

I will pass to the team if it’s possible in next update.

Thanks Saguaros. If the team could include in the next update it would be great because essentially using page builder with event tracking from google adwords or google analytics would not be possible right now or at the very least awkward so making sure the href can take javascript is definitely a must for the full stable release. thanks

Let’s wait for further consideration from the team.

    Cheers!

Hi there, I see a stable and premium release has been made of JA Builder which is a little odd consider one cannot add any google analytics event tracking javascript links through the CTA buttons or any other text element of JA builder? Not sure how anyone serious about tracking conversions etc on their site would bother to use this and pay for it without something so basic working out of the box.

    Hi James,

This feature is not available in the stable release but your idea is good, the team will add it as improvement for JA Builder. Pls stay tuned.

    Regards
