I have an integrated phpbb forum within my joomla site, everything is ok, only when I turn on the teline 3 theme for this part of my site, the comments of users have a black background in internetexplorer.

See attached screenshot 🙂

Hello,

This is happening probably because of the fact that there is some matching tags in the phpbb.

Can you please post a live link?

Alternatively, you can check your site in Firefox and using Firebug, which will point you to the right css tags that you might need to edit.

Hello,
There appears to bew only 3 css files controling the forum
1. templates/ja_teline_iii/css/addons.css
2. phpBB3/styles/ambience_x/theme/stylesheet.css
3. /templates/ja_teline_iii/css/template.css
I’d have to say they are in one of those.
I don’t see any black backgrounds though, did you get this fixed?

nope i see them clearly inside the forumpostings only when using IE 8

It does look like a css conflict.

Run the above mentioned css files through the following tool and resave them and see if that fixes it.

fixed the issue, removing the .tablebg clas in the css file of the phpbb forum itself.

yes :), the strange thing is that I did not have this issue in Teline 2
