    Default is a gray background image but i changed mine to a dark blue. Problem is that the text looks blurry and not sharp at all. Is there a text style on the text that would add something like a drop shadow or something … I can’t find it in the css anywhere that would make it look good

    See here ^ ^ ^

    I am using the orange theme. any help with direction would be great.

    It seems any dark color will cause this blur effect to happen. It will only look good if you plan on using gray background.
    Where is this text color on the footer to edit and does it have some weird style like a drop shadow that may be causing this?

    Usually joomlart comes up with light and dark themes so this is never an issue but i feel they did something to the text different than normal.:confused:

    you open the file: /templates/ja_portfolio/css/css3.css and remove the following code:

    #ja-footer { text-shadow: 0 1px 0 #fff; }
