September 2, 2008 at 8:48 am #132840I know there is a thread about this already. But it is marked as solved, so all the admins seem to be ignoring it.
Anyway the topic is far from solved. Please mark it as unsolved or something and post some answers. ( and delete this one after you do 😛 )

I think this is one of the basic functions of the template, and it doesn’t seem to work with Joomla 1.0.
September 2, 2008 at 10:52 am #268288Yes, I’m also waiting for a solution to this. Please don’t ignore us.

With joomla 1.0, you must edit ja_vars_1.0x.php
Search those lines:#MENU'S TYPE
$_params->set('ja_menu','flymoo');//split:Split Menu; css:CSS Menu; moo:Moo Menu; flycss:FlyCSS;flymoo:FlymooChange to
#MENU'S TYPE
$_params->set('ja_menu','moo');//split:Split Menu; css:CSS Menu; moo:Moo Menu; flycss:FlyCSS;flymoo:FlymooThen go to Menus-> Mainmenu, example choose Home menu to edit
you will see like image

September 3, 2008 at 10:20 am #268490Please read the thread I linked above. The solution you described works only with com_frontpage and maybe a blog category layout, thats it. What about the rest? Maybe just a simple content link, or contact component link, or any other custom components?
The “Page Title” parameter is very rare in Joomla 1.0. You should of known this, before you started working on the template, to be honest.

September 5, 2008 at 7:43 am #268880You’re just gonna ignore this thread or what? That usualy solves your problems ye?
As I said, one of the basic features, and its not compatible with Joomla 1.0. I don’t mind if you don’t make templates compatible with Joomla 1.0, but don’t advertise then that you do! That’s just…
EDIT: sorry for the double post :

@ja Support: I fully agree with the posting above!
I’m trying to adapt this template, please answer this question as soon as possible!September 15, 2008 at 8:30 am #270589Looks like there’s no solution for joomla 1.0.x, so at least tell us how to remove the text at the bottom of the items in the menu.
Thank you

September 15, 2008 at 8:35 am #270590You’ll find the solution here:
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/how-do-you-disable-the-menu-description/It should solve your problem for most of your menu items. Otherwise report back, and we’ll try to work something out.
