Having a little startup issue here.

we have signed up for an S3 account and have entered the details

Account Number
Access Key ID
Secret Access Key

However not sure about the Label.. what should that be as have tried some generic titles and I get the same error

The Amazon S3 Account is incorrect. Please check again.

Probably not able to see the wood from the trees, so a little point in the right direction will help.

Hello mate,

Please confirm these setting are correct:

• php 5.x.x
• php curl extensions is installed and enabled
• safe mode is turned off.
• magic_quotes_gpc is turned off
• magic_quotes_runtime is turned off.

If one of above setting is incorrect, please correct it. Else, please give me ftp account and administrator account.
I will check it for you.

Yes.. all enabled/disabled as you mentioned.

The Error Getting is
curlopt_followlocation cannot be activated when safe_mode is enabled or an open_basedir is set in S3

I should point out that I am running off PLESK.. and its notorious for these sort of issues.

Cant release FTP/Admin as that is a whole other Firewall issue.

Any other suggestions? I have tried on another server and it works fine.. so i figure a little tweaking should solve it (hopefully)

As the error that you got
“curlopt_followlocation cannot be activated when safe_mode is enabled or an open_basedir is set in S3”

Please try to turn off safe_mode, and remove value of open_basedir option so that CURL can work properly.

have moved on to demo server running cpanel and PHP 5 under suexec,

SafeMode Off
No Open Base Dir in effect

and magic quotes off.

running latest build of php

and still same ” * The Amazon S3 Account is incorrect. Please check again.”

I know the details work as I tested the plugin on my shared hosting domain.. however does not want to work on the dedicated server even after a clean install.

started removing some installed plugins and components and its all working now.. very odd.

Amazon SDK is maybe a cause of this bug in some case.
I have updated the lastest version of Amazon SDK for our component, the new version will be released soon.

at least its working now.. so that is the main thing..

now just need a good manual to teach me how to add set up more than the images folder.

how would i set up the template CSS and JS folders to be downloaded from the cloud?
