Hello! We have a problem to use JA Builder. In Joomla 3.7 (a new installation Joomla and JA Builder Package), when create a new page in JA Builder, the blocks Header and Footer are not showing. Could you help me?
PS: This is either happening when I copy a JA Builder template using Extensions > Templates > Templates > JA Builder > Copy template button.

May 16, 2017 at 11:22 pm #1034601Hi
Kindly use the JA Builder template to get the JA Builder working well.
The issue seems from the custom template.
I set the JA Builder template to default and its working fine.
RegardsMay 23, 2017 at 5:36 pm #1036454Precisely. Default template works. But we need to replicate the templates for the project, which will have varying layouts. In this case JABuilder does not work.
We need an urgent solution. Or does JA Builder not provide this native Joomla action?

May 24, 2017 at 3:52 am #1036551Hi
When u rename the template it will not longer pick the header and footer from Builder.
A custom template is just like any other template that has its own header and footers with module positions and the component area work to display the output.
JA Builder template specially designed for the JA Builder to pick the Builder header and footer to show the output, But if it’s custom it means it has the component section only.
The header and footer are present but they are not longer display as there are no Menu and footer positions in those areas.
if you use any other template in JA Builder, it will show template header and footer.I also discussed with the development team about this, currently, we do not support header and footer on rename/custom templates.
While you can add the header footer blocks in JA Builder component section. We also take it as an improvement for further releases of JA Builder.
Regards
