The problem occurs when wanting to open the cart. Instead of opening up at the top of the site the cart opens up LELOW the JA-News module and users therefore need to scroll down constantly when working within the cart and checkout process.
So my question is – how do I get the Ja-News module to dissapear when opening the cart?
The site:
An example where the cart opens up below the news module:
September 18, 2008 at 2:59 pm #271178Just noticed that this problem also occurs when showing a product’s details – the flypage. Show when ever a customer want’s to read more about a product they’re taken back to a page where the JA-news is shown first and then if you scroll down below it you’ll get to the product’s details…

Another new discovery:The problem only happens when the products are in a first level category. If a category contains sub-categories and a customer clicks on of the products in one of there sub-categories then the flypage opens up correctly – without the JA-News above…
So an example:
1

Customers enters the “cables” category and clicks on one of the cables products – the flypage opens up but with the JA-News module above it.
2

Customers enters the “guitar” category which only contains sub-categories. The customer enters one of the sub-categories and in there clicks on one of the products – the flypage opens up correctly – without the JA-News module above it.
Any ideas?
Another thing – on the last step of the checkout I can’t seem to get the reference to the payment window to show up – any connections perhaps?
Any input would be greatly appriciated!
September 18, 2008 at 8:26 pm #271200I’m just talking with myself here but anyway…. 😉
Now I’ve noticed that eventhough all categories are using the same flypage the reference is different depending if the product is in a main or sub category.
Products in the sub categories refer to “….flypage.tpl” but products refer to “…flypage.tpl.html”?! But looking at the settings of the categories they are all using “flypage.tpl”…. Strange?
September 29, 2008 at 1:17 pm #273043Hello,
I am facing the same problem..
So;
when clicking an item in the product-slider, one is not forward to the item inside the shop but the frontpage will be ‘decorated’ with the shop-item. I can hardly imagine any webmaster wishes a result like that.Anybody?

User clicks on on product in Prod_Slider and the flypage shows up under JAnews making the user scroll to the bottom to see the product… -
