I’ve got JA-Ores on a localhost and I was almost ready to go live. I noticed my child menu items on the mega menu quit working.

I had finished the menu items long ago. The only thing I had been doing was installing & configuring plugins & components. … well i guess I did add a few menu items (top level).

Does anyone know off the top of their head if any of these things cause conflicts? I don’t want to do this the hard way.

The stuff I installed after I know the child menu items were working include:
Kunea Forum
AllVideos
Simple Image Gallery
I tried JEvents but it timed out. (normal for me on a localhost)
Xmap
Akeeba Backup
and PhocaDownload.

Any ideas?

It has to be a conflict. They were just working…..

I figured it out the System – Mootools Upgrade plugin breaks it. I don’t know why but it does. I turned it on to get Kunea to work. I got it turned off now.

Now Kunea doesn’t work……. :((

I’m having the same exact problem. Would love to get a dev response on this to see if there is a fix/workaround or an update coming in the near future that will fix this. I also need to have the Mootools Upgrade active because I use Kunena forum.

If you don’t have a slideshow at the top of your template you can turn on the mootools upgrade plugin and it will work. But if you do when the child menu’s overlap the slideshow they are not clickable.

Hi ekritter,
I did install kunena forum in JA Ores without turning on the System Mootools plugin and Kunena still works very well. It’s com_kunena_v1.5.12_stable. Please reinstall the forum.
