I have 2 problems which could be JA Avian bugs :

1. I cant make blue the chosen color.

So I follow the following sinstruction given by JA :

5. Tools Configuration

To enable/disable the font and resolution resizer, you can use the variable $ja_tool in the 35th line onf “ja_avian_ii/ja_vars.php”

I set it to “blue ” but still the default color ( orange ) remains .Also the color chooser at the top right had page still remains ( I only want blue and dont want to give the user any choice of orange or green )

2.I make my own log and replace the original logo.gif file. However my new logo only appears in the default orange theme. ( does NOT appear in blue and green theme if user chooses color chooser )

What I want is my logo on a blue them and user cant change the color I have chosen. Why cant I do it in Avian II ?>:(

Hi

Thanks for responding so soon .

I have attached 2 screen shots. I am using Avian II’s modern template.

I replaced the ” Avian ” logo with ” SG Biodata ” logo ie I deleted the original logo.gif in images folder and then replaced with a new logo.gif .

But I noticed that ” SG Biodata ” only appears in the default orange version and ” Avian” logo still remains for the blue and green versions.

Anyway, I want to remove the ” color chooser ” which appears at the top right hand of the template so only orange remains as the default

I am now using Avian II quickstart under Joomla1.55

My main problem is why logo appears only for default oranage and how i can delete the color chooser once I hav chosen my choice of color.

Hi
You choose color in config is orange, it will be default color of your site, then you config user tool is Font size, you can choice other color from front end, user tool only display Font size tool

Cool . I have been so used to Joomla 1.015..forget about the fact that the Avian II/J1.55 template allows parameters to be set!
