    Hello,

Can someone please write a tutorial on how to make sure that the Facebook Share feature works properly.

One of the selling points that got me to purchase this template was the ability to easily share content from my website onto Facebook.

In order for this to be effective Facebook needs to pull Meta data from the template’s Header area.

    This includes the following:

Thumbnail of site’s logo OR article
Site Name & Ttitle of the page
a Brief description of the article that you are posting.

Once I share this onto Facebook, it should automatically post correctly.

Currently (AND I have noticed this on the Social Demo)

That it is not posting the thumbnail and no description of the site or article.

This is a HUGE Major Problem. It is supposed to be a Social Template but it is far from that if it does not post correctly to Facebook.

There is no documentation or support on this issue.

Thank you in advance for any help!

Social demo article does not have the meta data attached to it.

I would also like to say that if you are using K2, then meta data for the article has to be updated manually.

Check this LINK. and now look at the two screenshots below :

This is what i see and get posted to my facebook.

Update your meta data and it all would be fine. Easy to copy and paste your first paragraph to the meta box

See my facebook page for results :

    Hello,

Thanks very much for your help!

I have found out a solution. It appears that I need to add

    <link rel=”image_src” href=”http://mysite.com/image/logo.png” />

    to my <Head></Head> section.
