    Hello,

I downloaded the free JA Submit because I have no access to the other one. [ I wonder why such a simple script is not available to sucribing (paying) customers.]

Anyway, it installs and all, but it is crappy:

    Free JA Submit

How do you define the specification of this so that it will be wrapped by the template layout?

    Thanks.

Have you tried the one from ninjoomla? or the one from ijoomla?
They both have some reamped versions of the submit component that seems to work fine.

Thanks for the tip Menalto, I will look into those. When I first joined there was a good layout JA Submit, not sure if they placed the good one in the Developer’s only extensions.

Since most Joomlart customers actually do not use too many templates, one of the incentives that a good template company must provide are reliable “extensions” that have been tested to work with the company’s templates. These “incentives must be doled out regularly” to entice current customers to remain as paying customers.

Instead, customers like myself has to suffer through endless templates that we never use. Just think of it: who would change the template of their website, just because a new Joomlart template came out, that has some new whistles and bells, but not really any improvement, just another clone.

If a new feature has been created by Joomlart, why not make it into a separate (independent) extension so that existing members may use them in their existing templates.

A case in point, I like the JA Tabs in the original Teline much better than the one in the Teline II, as it allows both top and bottom addition of modules. Had it been made into an independent module (extension), and the templates of Joomlart been modular in their design, then customers can swap features easily. And, will be happy. The new additional templates may be integrated in the existing websites of customers..

As far as I am concerned, this must be one of the goals and focus of a good template company.
