Hi

The JA Spotlight Module in JA Rochea doesn’t work in IE 8.0
Everything works fine in FF and older versions of IE.
Does anyone know how can I fix my my problem?

i checked your website but this module is working fine in IE8

Yes,

The spotlights in IE 8 are only visible if you turn on Compatibility View, from the microsoft website:

“Now you can quickly display websites that were designed for older browsers. If you’re looking at a page and the text or images aren’t lined up right, just use the new Compatibility View button next to the Refresh button on the Address Bar”

Is there a little codechange possible to make it visibile if it is not turned on. I expect many users not to know what to do and they see no spotlights!

the spotlight module is not working unless IE 8 is in compatibility mode. What needs to be changed in this module to allow it to work without a user having their IE 8 in compatibility mode?
