April 17, 2010 at 12:41 pm #150435Hi,
I have notes that the code of the template Teline 3 is not stable.
This template should be an NEWS Template where a whole team of news people are working to put daily news content in to the website.
The stability of the website template is causing a lot of problems.
Such as: the ability to copy and paste content information without the template being moved what so ever.
Copy and past this code in to the template
<div style=”text-align: justify;”></div>
and
<SPAN id=”ctl00_cphMiddle1_ctl02_lblContent”></SPAN>
and
<div></div>
will cost that the right and left side of the template will move to down.
This is an major problem because the code will be used in an content and since we are promoting daily news we do not have the time to check all content coding.
How to solved this??
Is there any way to let the template Ja Teline iii accept all sort of coding in the content?
Please we are waiting for your answer.
thnx.

April 17, 2010 at 6:26 pm #340657When did you download the template? Many fixes have been applied over the last couple of months so this may have been fixed. Please be aware that with ANY joomla template some formatting cannot be used without breaking a template. I will download and install the latest Teline III on my local machine tomorrow and give it some testing to see if I can replicate your problems.

April 21, 2010 at 8:53 pm #341121I’ve tried a number of things but am unable to replicate your problem. For me, Teline III works exactly as it should. Please submit a support ticket so we can look at your individual problem.

April 22, 2010 at 2:14 pm #341205Thanks for looking in to it. The main problem I have is that when I selected the text align=”justify” including with an “readmore line and photo, it wil drop the rightside of the template down.
Now we do not use it because the wensite is live but would love to know how to solf it.
Bay the way, Do you know where in the template I can placed the Google Website Optimizer Control Script.
Normally it gos in the index.php between the <head> and </head> but now I can see the index.php from the Ja teline iii is diverend.

April 23, 2010 at 9:11 am #341323Hello,
The code you are looking for is in file layouts/blocks/head.php.
I cannot reproduce your problem with justified text, even with image and readmore.
<p style=”text-align: justify;”>text….</p>good luck,

April 23, 2010 at 9:53 am #341331Hello,
You could inactivate the comment-function, maybe by unpublishing JA Comment Plugin?
I don’t use it myself…..Regards,

April 23, 2010 at 11:49 am #341348Sorry, I don’t mean comment but make changes in our artikels. I alreday have placed this question on te joomla forum since it is an joomla hack problem. But still, I would like to know how to disable all the:
<script type and <link rel from the template from NOT showing on the view-source from the website.I hope you can guide me to that.
Thanks in advance.

What you are asking is to hide the source code? Not really possible I’m afraid. There are compression tools that sort of do it but not to any good use. It is simply not the way a browser works. Many people think a simple plugin to prevent right click will protect their code or images. Again, this just makes it harder for noobs but anyone with any knowledge will see straight through it. Best way to keep secure is to keep all your code up to date both on a server level and on an application level.
