March 1, 2012 at 2:33 pm #174489What must I do to make the news presented in “ALTA DEFINICIÓN: Especialistas en Blu-ray y HDTV” module show more width, and in the right figure?
In the template version 2.5 is displayed in a narrower size on the front page, something that visually do not like.

March 2, 2012 at 2:09 am #441272Hi drdig,
I see that there is a module on right side of that home page article, the module ID is 166, you just go to the module setting and unassign it for displaying under your homemenu item.
Hope you understand !

March 2, 2012 at 7:11 am #441339Thanks, but that is not the solution I want.
On a personal website with Joomla 1.5.25 to click “read more” items that are in “ALTA DEFINICIÓN ESPECIALISTAS…” module are displayed as you see in the picture attached in the post.
I would like to show well in version 2.5, in a separate screen.
Note that above article is not the Slideshow2, indicating that the article does not open on the main page.
How I can configure it so?
Thanks

March 2, 2012 at 7:49 am #441347Hi drdig,
It’s not clear to me what you want but the relation between modules and menu items can be managed via modules back-end, whether or not you want a module display under a specific menu item you go to the module back-end to unassign the module for that menu item.
or may be i am not able to understand the exact requirements of yours. Please reply back with more details.drdig Frienddrdig

March 3, 2012 at 2:27 am #441575Hi drdig,
That’s not a module instead it’s com_content feature layout or it belong to the com_content component, tell me what you want to do with that block ?

March 5, 2012 at 11:11 am #441904The problem is another Jupgrade problem. Your articles need to be assigned to a menu or the modules will continue to appear when you click on the read more. When the migration was done those items were not assigned to a menu item hence the issue you are seeing now.
If you look at the breadcrums you can see that the item you are looking at is only assigned to the home item.

March 5, 2012 at 11:44 am #441912You need to assign your articles to a menu item, simple as that. It is a normal Joomla feature. Also check to see what pages the techno hd module is assigned to.

March 5, 2012 at 11:55 am #441913I think it is confusing. I’m not talking about the module “TECNO HD”, I am referring to module “ALTA DEFINICIÓN ESPECIALISTAS EN BLU-RAY Y HDTV”
Can you tell me how to do it step by step?
Or if you prefer, can you enter my site as an administrator and make the necessary adjustments for items to be displayed as I have explained?
Thank you.Phill ModeratorPhill

March 5, 2012 at 12:14 pm #441919I know exactly what you are talking about. That as Dat suggested earlier is the main content, an article. The modules are setup to appear on the home page. If you go into their setups in module manager you will see that they are set to appear on the homepage.
If you look at your article when you click on the readmore you will notice you are still seeing it on the home page item. That is because the catergory that you have this article in is not assigned to any menu item. You need to do that or the modules will still appear.

March 5, 2012 at 12:41 pm #441928Phil, thanks for your answers, but the fact is that not solve my problem because the modules do not know how to manage this new template made in Joomla 2.5.
Interestingly, apart from what we’re talking, I see that the items within the module are linking TECNO HD not properly and do not know how to fix this issue.
Also, I still do not know how to solve the issue in which I opened this post.
The funny thing is that yes I can handle modules with Joomla 1.5, but with 2.5 I am totally inexperienced.
I beg you please help me solve these problems.
Thank you very much.Phill ModeratorPhill

March 5, 2012 at 12:44 pm #441929I have told you how to fix them. Create a menu item, a catery blog item and assign your category to it. Not sure what else I can do to explain it.
