I’m using Joomla 1.5.2 and the 1.5 Barite template. The folder is named ja_barite, I have tried setting the file and also the whole folder to 777, but keep getting this message.

Can anyone tell me what else to do?

You need to browse to the file params.ini and chmod it to 777

Thanks but it did not work. I switched back to Joomla 1.0 (for other reasons) and seem to have no problems with JA Barite there:)
