After a long struggle and reading to find a fix for the blank screen I get after installing the template, I got the params.ini to be writable but no luck in the blank screen issue.

* I am using a dedicated windows 2003 server
* The version of Joomla is 1.5 latest update

I can install many other templates with no problem, not sure why I cannot on this one.

What I’ve noticed is that other templates already had params.ini within the root template forlder and this template hasn’t,

Please advice

Try to install the template by hand. Just copy all files from the zip file to the templates folder.
The Folder within Templates should be named jairis.

Thanks for the reply, still not working and displaying a white page on the defauld page.

Why is it that params.ini is not being generated like the rest of the template…

Please advice.:confused:

Maybe params.ini now is read-only file, plz set permission again for that file. Hope can help you.

The params.ini is not in the template folder, not sure why this is happening!!

Copy my params.ini (just rename from params.ini.txt to params.ini) to your template ja iris folder an try again.
