September 30, 2010 at 2:43 pm #357207Before installing T3F – uninstall previous version. After successful installation, go to plugin manager find a system T3F plugin and enable it.
Check if plugins/system/jat3/ exists, if you receive error on new installations; also check jos_pugin tables. In case you cannot install new plugin, but don’t see it from the back-end – delete the files and row in jos_plugins and try again.

October 4, 2010 at 1:11 pm #357673Maybe because you need JomSocial properly installed and working on your site….
Just disable mod_topmembers if you don’t need it.October 4, 2010 at 2:32 pm #357677Gray, Thanks very much for your reply.
Is there a particular version of Jomsocial this will only work with, say after version….whatever?
I have had Jomsocial running on my site for 8 months without a problem on any of the modules or plugins. Ill try a fresh install from scratch. Thanks
Jasper

October 4, 2010 at 6:20 pm #357698Not sure, the JomSocial’s forum is close for not-registered users. But with Google I found some threads on this error – for example, this one. It seems to be that during upgrade/update error could occur and JomSocial is to be fixed by some files (attached to that message). If you are member of the forum – look there.

October 23, 2010 at 2:57 pm #360217HELP!!!
I currently have a Joomla website which I’m looking to update to Taline 3. I’ve uploaded the template. I couldn’t preview the template as it said it needed JAT3. As per this thread I enabled it on the plugin manager and I got the error message
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘)’, expecting ‘(‘ in /homepages/2/d263455212/htdocs/mydadrocks/plugins/system/jat3/core/common.php on line 224
My website is now offline and I can’t access administrator to disable it!!

October 23, 2010 at 3:30 pm #360218I’ve got around it temporariliy by changing the names of JAT3.php and JAT3.xml.
This has allowed access to Administrator to disable it.
