As informed in the 2008 Summer Holiday Vacation announcement, I just want to make the delay of release for this template be known to everybody.

Thank you very much for your patience. I know it is always hard waiting for something but we ll try not letting you down with the coming Galena

I will update the exact date of release, we are very close to it.

Updated on 08:20 AM – 09/May: JA Galena will be the first template of May. The image on the website indicated it as the second template of May has been corrected. I am sorry for the misleading.

In my modest opinion, we (“over 18477 ‘satisfied’ members (and counting)…”) paid for two templates per month.

And… with so many paying members (customers) you should expect a decent planning to prevent a delay because of a couple of days holiday.

This kind of posts makes me feel disappointed.

Indeed… after a couple of weeks after the initial release most of the templates works well, but:
– in the first days after the initial release we all are beta-testers to help Joomlart to correct some errors and solve other problems.
– after on-about two weeks it lacks good support, the focus has changed to the ‘new’ template. A lot of questions are simply ignored! The ‘stable’-versions are absolutely not free from errors.

So, why did I renew my subscription a month or so ago? I really don’t know for sure, maybe I like to tease myself.:confused:

What do you think?

When I purchased it, I think Joomlart statement already mentioned it won’t be error free. I am aware of that before I purchased it, so no complain. I think it’s the same for most of the software, such as, You can not get error free OS.

Indeed, it would be nice if they could plan their template ahead to avoid delay; however, I am one of those guy who are willing to wait a little bit longer for better quality stuff. I don’t want joomart team to create 24 templates in one month and pass those out one by one.

It’s nice of you to help joomlart to figure out the bug. 😀 Thank you!

This should be the FIRST template.

There has been a very extensive discussion about skipping templates due to all kinds of reasons. And the absolute promise is that there are TWO templates each month.

What it seems like is that they skip a few days every template, so that it starts to be unclear which template is for what month. Like now, this one will be released around half May. And it is even called 2nd template of May. So, prove me wrong JA, please, and correct that mistake?

I would like to see two templates as is promised to all those members… thanks!

To all the members who keep repeating “We paid for two” like a broken record, how many templates do you need to make 1 to 3 sites?

Folks, times have changed and as templates became more and more sophisticated the old rule has to be changed. Look at the new Teline, and how long do you think it will take to make something like that? Other clubs are producing a single template which can produce infinite number of sites.

Give this guys a break. At least let them enjoy few days.

Dear Abdul,

I am not a broken record. I will give them a break, no problem at all. Just don’t be sneaky, but announce it properly. Then I won’t care.

And… it is not up to you to decide how many templates I might need. It’s not about how many, it’s about the right one. 🙂
