Try reading through the thread first.May 9, 2008 at 8:45 am #248350<em>@tcraw1010 52460 wrote:</em><blockquote>No, you paid a premium for a Developer License so you would have license to use JA Templates I and JA Club Extensions on unlimited domains – as opposed to only one domain w/ the standard membership.</blockquote>
I think you are drawing on straws here. Your membership fees are still token compared to Developers fees.

May 9, 2008 at 8:45 am #248351VisiGod;52406I don’t care if it is a must, I paid for two. I am currently getting ZERO WORKING.
Hi VisiGod,
And what is the reason that you get the offered templates not working? I just installed for a JA member a JA-Teline II template, including the demo-content, using the Quickstart and it works out of the box, exactly like the demo.
If you need to install a new template to an existing website you should firstly have to investigate a little (maybe using the Quickstart on a Local Server) how the integrated modules have to be installed etc. And even then the modules used on the demo can conflict with modules/components already installed on the existing website. But is this a fault of JA? Not in my opinion.
With kind regards,
Peter

May 9, 2008 at 9:00 am #248354For those that didn’t notice:
JA changed the 2nd to 1st.
So that problem is solved, great! Thanks JA!

May 9, 2008 at 11:01 am #248360I thik that, it’s not a big problem if we have a delay of some days. JA have always done a good job, if we want better, we have to be patient. Thanks JA

Well, it is working with the quickstart and nothing more. When I install it on existing web site, it always continue to have issues with the sef. And yes, it is a problem of JA that integrates js code mainly that conflicts with other extensions.

May 9, 2008 at 12:42 pm #248372Take your time! Joomlart rocks. I bought a membership from yootheme and found myself crawling back here because of their lack of support. For those who want to complain, try finding a more professional template company that has consistently delivered the goods and the service. I’m afraid Joomlart’s got me for life! 😮

Try RT or Jootheme and see if you can install them without problems. 😀
I totally disagree that JA is responsible for their templates conflicting with other modules/components. So you want JA to test their templates with thousands of extensions out there in the world and also release 2 templates a month?? It is not reasonable.

May 9, 2008 at 1:59 pm #248376It is very easy you know. Just put a parameter in the template parameters if you i.e. want to disable the usage of Highslide from the template. But nope, it is embded and I need to search and edit the PHP in order to remove these calls.

No one ever said designing a custom quality website doesn’t involve some time and effort.😎

May 9, 2008 at 5:36 pm #248384Agreed. I have had great success with the Joomlart templates because I take the time to tweak everything to make them work the way I need it to, templates are just that, a starting point. It is totally irrational to expect the JA team to give you parameter-based customization for every part of their template while still making 2 quality templates a month.
I hope everyone is done bitching now about JA screwing you by giving you just one template this month when they just mislabeled it as 2nd for May.

You are right, it is pretty easy to to add a parameter switch, if you aren’t also trying to pump out an entire template in 2 weeks. But because it is so easy, I would imagine you could set up your own parameter switches and upload the modified index.php to help others instead of complaining about it on the forums.
