The Social share buttons seem to work fine on your site for me.

The buttons themselves work fine, but they are not posting the correct image or the correct intro paragraph. Even your Demo doesn’t do it correctly. Something is very wrong.

I only use G+ and Twitter and the latter, at least, doesn’t normally include images on tweets from Social buttons. The intro text on FB seems correct to me.

I just checked on a Teline V site I built some while ago and you are right. The FB intro text bears no relationship to the article title 🙁 See: http://mt5j345.mwinda.org) Weird.

Thank you for checking on your own website.

I believe the intro text is being taken from the ‘next’ article from the Mainmenu.

What would be the way to get the Social Share to skip the Mainmenu and go just to the article to get the information?

This is really important to me and my group. Especially my supervisor. He is beginning to think I picked the wrong template to use, but I like the layout and ease of use. He really wants everyone to post our article with the correct pictures and intro paragraphs on Facebook.

    Thanks,
    Randy

I know it sounds crazy, but on this particular article the Intro paragraph came out correct, but the image posted was the wrong one. I’m completely stumped.

I also can’t get the Social Share to turn on for sharing videos or the blog articles. What can I do? How do I share them?

All articles including blogs work for me on FB.
Video sharing is usually dependent upon the video source. See top right corner on YouTubes.

@drproactive: If you want to share the data of your site to FB, you will have to create an og:image meta tag for each image see here. Hope it helps

Thanks Tim, I see that now about the video…. it makes sense.

Thanks Ninja Leader, I will look into this og:image meta tag thing… sounds very helpful.
