    Hello,

I have quickstart of JA Decor. I want brown color and same look like at demo site.

    Template manager – JA Decor
    Theme – brown – Save.

    But something is wrong…. http://www.mojaakcija.com/TESTING/erdut

How to get same look like at demo site (same modules and other things), just like at demo when you choose Explore – brown color?

    Joomla 3.3.0
I left site access information in “Require Help From Staff + Mod/Admin?”

    Thank you

Do you think about this article?
    http://www.joomlart.com/documentation/other/quickstart-installation

It is not helpful. It is not about my problem/question…

You are asking how to get your site to look just like the demo version.

When you installed your template, did you do so utilizing the quickstart + sample data installation process?

If you just look link from my first post, just that. You will see where is the problem. Of course that I have choose install sample data. But when I change to brown theme, nothing happens (everything look the same like from installation). When I go to the assignment and select only main menu, then I see brown theme but some modules are missing, modules from front page are different and so on.

I was thinking that is enough just to choose brown theme and that’s it. But no…

It appears to me that there are some modules that may not published and/or configured correctly – such as the Masshead module.

My recommendation would be to look through both the JA DECOR USER GUIDE as well as create a new demo site using the DEMO BUILDER to cross-reference your site’s settings/configurations with those of the demo version.

With these two methods, you should be able to figure out what elements may not be set up correctly within your own site admin structure.

I’m not satisfied with the answer and I know that someone from the moderators, developers can help me for about 30 seconds of his time but instead are making me to explore how to handle it for hours.

    It’s ok. Thank you

    I will ask someone else…

I repeat my state… I just want to have brown theme, why that is so big problem to direct answer me what to do with quickstart installation which is Joomlart customization?

    I don’t understand…

The JA Moderator/Support Team are here to provide guidance to our Members as to how to check and try to resolve issues/questions presented. I have done exactly this with the observations and suggestions provided within my Post #7 above.

Nevertheless, I will forward your issues onto the JA Development Team for review and, if deemed appropriate, further comment.

    Why?

I am just installed the quickstart, chose the theme brown and tried through the assignment and select only main menu to do something to make a template look like the demo example. Just that.

@msilac: Your site is set with both template styles: ja_decor – Default and ja_decor – Features

I just configured ja_decor – Features with brown theme and assign to Naslovnica menu item; ja_decor – Default with brown theme and assign to another menu items

Your site is working with brown theme now. Please check again.

Thank you Ninja Lead, that’s it!

Now I know what to do in this case if I need that again! I learned something now 😉
