    ACL Issues
Is there a way to add Super User to the option on the backend for ThemeMagic access level? Here is a snapshot of what I am referring to: http://awesomescreenshot.com/0aa36fcva7

As a matter of fact, is there a way that it can be directly linked to the Groups within Joomla itself so that if a new group is created, it will appear in the drop-down list?

My problem is the only way for me to get a submenu item to display how its supposed to is if its access is public. I have a component that I would only like for Super Users or Admins to be able to access. Here is a screenshot of the frontend of my problem: http://awesomescreenshot.com/0a236hrc8c. The weird thing is when I used the megamenu on the backend, everything displays in terms of layout as it should. At least I think it does, but it gets funky when you apply user permissions to it. Refer to the other 2 snapshots of the megamenu when it is set as Public and it set as Registered:

This is not bug our product, I have fixed the problem directly on your site. Below are steps to do

+ Config all menu items in EXPENSE MANAGEMENT to publish

+ Config all menu items to show like my screenshot

+ Go to Menu -> set all menu items in EXPENSE MANAGEMENT to Registered

For now, you will see your site is working fine.

HI NinjaLead. Thanks for your help however the problem is not fixed all the way yet. The changes that you made only work like it’s supposed to if you’re a registered user and not for both Public and registered. For public users the menu should span 6 by 6 and for Super Users I want it to span 4 by 4 by 4.

Now if you take a look at frontend of the Menu, you’ll see my problem. You can’t have it align perfectly if you want to use both Registered AND Public with different layouts. Look at the snapshot for Public now: http://awesomescreenshot.com/02936mrz56. And below is a snapshot of how it looks on the backend. So unfortunately there is some sort of a layout issue as it pertains to different access control lists. I still would like to know a way to add only Super Users to that menu if possible please.

    Hi NinjaLead thank you again.

While I sincerely appreciate your help, you don’t seem to fully understand the nature of the problem. I am not sure if I am describing the problem correctly. But let me try again… You didn’t really fix the problem. The problem arises when you have 2 different user groups and you want to use 2 different menu layouts for each group. Yes, the REGISTERED group is now layed out correctly but the layout for the PUBLIC users now DOES NOT look how it should. Please look at the snapshot. I have not changed anything yet. What I have been trying to say is that you can’t USE 2 different layouts for separate ACL’s. There is some conflict that arises and forces a particlar ACL menu to only span 1 COLUMN insteald of MULTIPLE. Furthermore you also have not answered if it was possible to have this menu target Super Users only.

So once again, yes the REGISTERED menu now looks as it should but in doing so you mess up the PUBLIC menu. I have not made any changes. Please look now at the Public menu. And if you try to fix it, go to the REGISTERED menu and you see it will then change from the 3 column layout. Does that make sense?

I want the PUBLIC in 2 COLUMNS and the SUPER USERS to have 3 COLUMNS. Does that make sense?

I’m very surprised the problem on your site, I have fixed the same of your request and sent you the screenshot but I don’t know why it’s still there on your site. I have asked my colleague to test it, below is my screenshot, let me know if that is as your expectation

    + Chrome browser

    + IE browser

+ FireFox and Safari the same way

    Hi @ninja Lead,

That’s why it is slightly frustrating because I am not changing anything. It just doesn’t work with 2 different user groups or layouts. It’s fine with just 1 but for my layout and navigation it doesn’t work well.

I’m sure you have changed menu that’s why you saw it different yesterday,

You can have a look at Mega menu userguide for reference here: http://t3-framework.org/documentation/menu-system and hope you can control it on your site.

No sir. I did not change it. The only thing I did was remove menu items because I was testing out a component but I never touched the Megamenu itself. I’ve read the documentation but did you at least try what I said? Try making 2 different layouts? Test it when you are logged in and test it when you are logged out.

And you still haven’t answered my question about Super User!
