I have an issue with theme magic.

I Installed T3 on a fresh copy of Joomla 3.1.1

when I go to the T3_blank template and into ThemeMagic.
It takes a long time to load the preview on the right and when it does it looks like none of the CSS is loaded.
Also the blue loading bar only loads half way.

if I try and click “Save as” after making some changes, I am automatically put back in the Template Manager Page.

I checked Directory permissions and everything is green. So I am not sure what could be wrong…any help would be appreciated.

    I am running T3 Framework 1.4, on Joomla 3.1.1
It is on a Windows Server with Microsoft-IIS/7.5 and PHP 5.4.5

Hey Guys I figured out what the issue was.

So I needed to add a .less mime type, and when I looked online

    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7319555/how-to-add-less-to-iis-7-0

suggested “text/css”…BUT…that still did not work, what I had to do is add a .less mime type of “text/less” and that seems to have fixed the issue.

That is a great suggestion and glad if it worked for you!

I have a client with a site (T3/Blank) that is hanging halfway through the ThemeMagic load as many others have described. Perhaps it is a bug in the “Quick” version as that seems to be a common demonimator.
None the less, adding the “text/less” in his instance is not the remedy I’m sorry to say. So the search continues for us.

    Thanks again! And welcome!

I also have been battling with this issue for a while. I usually don’t use thememagic on whichever site gives me the problem but I think vladg’s suggestion is actually the solution.

I believe what to look out for is the correct place to add the mime type.

I use iis webmatrix which uses iis express.
Fix 1: add the mime type to web.config file in the site root (work for only the website whose web.config file was edited)
    OR
Fix 2: add the mime type to C:Users\DocumentsIISExpressconfigapplicationhost.xml (works for all installed websites)

PS: mime type text/css worked for only the first less file located in a folder, others were not recognized BUT using text/less worked perfectly
