In t3-bs3-blank template, when i choose any theme other then default, like dark or red or anything i have customized in theme magic. when i preview the site in the browser there is no styling at all, this happens in both development mode and non development mode,

I did not try to customize the theme, i wanted to use the dark theme included in t3_bs3_blank, so i went into the template chose dark in the theme, clicked on save, i even tried compiling less to css, i have tried both in and out of development mode, but nothing seems to take. but what is really odd is that in the theme selection it doesn’t just say dark or red like i am use to, but it shows the full path to the theme folder, the only one that works properly is when i use default. this is a fresh install on a wamp server on a windows 10 machine, i can not put it up online yet as i dont have the hosting space yet

Let me try to install in my local and see how it goes, you installed the quickstart package of this template or install Joomla + install template package?

i tried doing both and got the same result, but at the moment i have the Joomla + install T3_bs3_Blank Package installed, i have also tried with T3_Blank and The latest Purity templates and still get the same issue, they are also having the same problem in this thread as well https://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/problem-with-theme-colors-in-t3-framework/, i have also tried using to different local server configurations, i have used Bitnami Joomla stack wich is xamp based and wampserver64 and 32, and got the same result on both setups, at the moment i have the wamp server installed
