I have Joomlart Purity III v 1.1.5 and T3 Framework 2.5.2 installed on Joomla 3.4.5
php.ini memory limit is set to 128 MB
error reporting is set to Development
ThemeMagic will not display Preview of website; when I click on the Preview button the progress bar advances 50% then freezes.
There are no errors in the browser, no errors reported in the server error log.
ThemeMagic will not retain any changes in parameters within the left sidebar; everything reverts to the default setting.
I upgraded Joomla to 3.4.8
After upgrade, when I attempt to open Purity_III – Default template style from within Templates: Styles, I get this error:
Error: You are not permitted to use that link to directly access that page (#26).I have one successful installation of Purity III Joomla 3.4.8 on a different localhost server than the shared server above. I have no trouble with Purity III ThemeMagic on the localhost server.
March 17, 2016 at 3:56 pm #901362If I logout and login again, this error goes away:
After upgrade, when I attempt to open Purity_III – Default template style from within Templates: Styles, I get this error:
Error: You are not permitted to use that link to directly access that page (#26).But the inability to see Preview in ThemeMagic remains. The other problem also remains, any attempt to view Preview after changing variables will result in the progress indicator hanging at 50%. The variables cannot be saved, they revert to Default value.

March 18, 2016 at 3:21 am #901605Hi
Try to increase the PHP memory limit and make sure that you have correct permission for file/folder on your site. The recommended permission should be: file-644 and folder-755
March 18, 2016 at 4:35 pm #901855Hi Saguaros,
Thanks for your reply. The PHP memory limit is set by the host of this shared Linux server at 128 MB. They will not set it above that limit. Is it possible that ThemeMagic requires more than 128 MB memory? File-644 and folder-755 permissions are set correctly. Please add your suggestions for further troubleshooting.
Thanks!

March 21, 2016 at 1:51 am #902502Hi Enrico,
As I can’t have login info into your site now so I recommend you to make a test site in localhost and try with ThemeMagic again and see how it goes.
March 21, 2016 at 5:02 pm #902962Hi Saguaros,
Using Firefox Console I traced the problem to a JavaScript conflict. JoomlArt forums moderator Pankaj Sharma in another thread suggested this step:the error may due to one of your extension using older version of jquery. kindly try to unpublish the 3rd party extension one by one and check the problems again .
I found the offending extension, JQuery Easy (which was meant to help solve this kind of problem but actually did the opposite). After disabling JQuery Easy the JavaScript fatal errors went away and the progress bar completed in ThemeMagic, which is now working as expected..
Thanks for your help. And may I offer a suggestion? Your forums are full of threads where you request admin login and the thread stops there. It would help so much if you could please conclude the thread with a summary of the actions you took after admin login.
Thanks,
