    We are going to introduce 30% renewal discount for JA Wall bundle in the coming weeks, like we do for JATC standard and JA Dev membership.

    I had thought of giving up JaWall, but have not found a better substitute. Please make some improvements in JaWall, in the near future. Ja Wall must continue to evolve to keep always interesting and exciting. Why stop is dying!

    Hi Pedrox,

    We are testing out obgrabber as a replacement to feedgator (until its 2.5/3.0) version is out. We are in touch with obgrabber team for the same. We are also exploring addition of pinterest, flickr, tumblr for it.
    A bug fix version was released yesterday. IF you have any suggestions for improving JA Wall, let me know…. we will try to consider them.

    Yes, I would like to give you some tips:

    Add items simplified
    Improvement of the general details
    Some more themes
    Greater integration for users
    A theme for ads (with no requirement to add codes, as in option available)
    Easy option to add photos (and photo galleries), videos and music
    3 positions to the right
    2 positions to the left
    Login with trumbail user on top (On the right)

    And why not, an option with only one column? Like the new site flickr ? (See picture, please)

    Buyer beware – while the description makes many claims what is not made clear is that you have to purchase many additional add-ons to do all these things it claims to do. It’s somewhat misleading because they talk about what is “built-in” and what are “extras” – I should’ve guessed the extras cost extra but when I read “…this grabber Joomla extension can: – Grab youtube videos and store into K2 or Seyret…” I just assumed that buy purchasing the extension I would be able to do those things.

    But you can’t. You have to purchase a youtube engine, a text engine, and an email – all separately for 10 Euros. Then you have to purchase a K2 adapter – 20 euros, a Kunena adapter 10 Euros, a virtuemart adapter 20 euros. And lastly, you youtube processor – in addition to the yourube engine you already purchased – for 10Euros, text spinner 15 Euros, Meta data processor 10 Euros – you get the picture – to do everything that is listed in the description of this extension costs 150. Euros.

    Also, I sent two pre-sales requests asking questions and waited 6 days with no response. Today I finally just purchased the extension – and then discovered that most of the things I wanted cost extra.

    There is also a problem with displaying your “pipes” after they are created. In their knowledgebase it states it is a known problem and you have to upgrade your php to 5.3 or above – but I’m running 5.3.17.

    I’m still waiting for an answer to that – but it’s only been about 10 hours.

    All that said, I think the extension works and does what it claims – but it certainly isn’t cheap 🙂 ”

    Yes, obgrabber is expensive, but until feedgator is available for 2.5 / 3.0, we need to recommend something in place. If the extension works the way we want, we would be requesting the developer of obgrabber to give us exclusive discount for our members for the extension and addons as a bundle.

    The renewal link would not be available after the membership expires.

    Your JA Wall bundle was expired so no renewal link for it under your member area.

    I have tried to install feedgator 2.3.7 in Joomla 3.2 and it keeps giving me a xml package error. Is feedgator and JA Wall and Joomla 3.2 not comparable? What is the best option for importing RSS Feeds currently?

    Could you post the full error message here? You may need to unzip the package of feedgator first, then install with the correct package inside it.
