The articles located in the front page have a small thumbnail. Using the editor to change the image shows the image in stories size 150×150.
If I change like for like the image is too big.
In fact the properties of the image are 75×75 pulled from the resize folder.
Using a 75×75 image uploaded the image displays correctly.
How does the default article get the 75×75 image

I’ve never used quartz – but it sounds like the work of the ja_thumbnail plugin.

Go to the plugin manager and look for something called ja-thumbnail or something like that (sinceI have seen it called different things in different templates ). Then click on that plugin and look at it – change the size of images on the front page to 150 x 150 or whatever you like.

But ja-thumbnail seems to be really awful for changing the image size this way. In this case – you might have better luck just disabling ja-thumbnail altogether and all shoudl be well.

That plugin is not used in Quartz.
Workaround is to upload image already sized to fit the module.
