The Smashboard template is excellent, excluding the fact, that the miniatures open in the article’s window instead of middle of the screen. If I hit the “refresh” button in the area of the article, the miniatures open correctly for a moment. This effect applies to: JA Tabs Plugin, Simple Image Gallery and Sigplus. I did not check other plugins.
If you could help me solve this probelem, I would be very grateful.

In the first screenshot you attached illustrates the popup view of article, while the second shows details view of article. In the popup view, SIG and Sigplus will detect the view port and display its popup inside the popup of article, it’s normal behavior.

In this case, you can try to disable the popup view (in template manager section) so that when you click to open article, it will show details page and then SIG or Sigplus will display popup in middle of screen.

Hope you get the idea.

Do you mean that you want to open article details page directly instead of opening in a popup? If so, please access administrator area of your site, navigate to template manager section > General tab and disable the popup view: http://prntscr.com/3dhm5w

I would like to open a gallery in the center of the screen. Not inside the window OF ARTICLE.
How to turn off popup – gallery opens fine.
Wrong open articles. Only the link title runs.

switched off popup, gallery works well.
Items can be opened, clicking on the title only.
It is not smart.

I understand your idea but this is so complicated. At this moment, SIGplus plugin will count width & height of the article popup and shows 2nd popup inside it, you must make change in JS of this plugin to achieve like that.

I’m afraid that this requires much customization and we can’t customize 3rd party extension. Please consider to turn off ‘Popup View’ option in template manager, then it will work.
