How do i get thumbnails for articles to show up on section and category pages.

In JA Teline, the section and category pages automatically formated based on JA News.

But in JA Seleni, the articles in the category and section pages show up as they would on a typical Joomla page with the formate set by the menu for that category or section.

And in JA Seleni the JA news module shows up at the bottom.

Do I need to create a separate JA news module for each section and category page?

Make sure you have images in your articles. Without images in your individual articles you’re not going to see thumbnails.

To format the individual SECTIONS and CATEGORIES in Selini OR Teline…you open the SECTION or CATEGORY in the ADMINISTRATIVE AREA…and set the PARAMETERS (that big list of functions on the right side of the page) for the SECTION or CATEGORY for the look you want.

There is no difference…nor is there a difference in the position of the JA NEWS module. It is located in the same area for both Selini and Teline. You apparently are looking at something and thinking it looks like a JA News module.

Perhaps a less vague explanation or a screenshot might help us understand what you are wanting to do.
