I believe I read somewhere a better way to handle uploading and inserting images into articles than what the current Teline III option allows for. My question though is about thumbnails.

Some of th earticles I will be posting to our site are press releases and often only have the companies logo. I use pictures if they are submitted but resort to the logo if not.

Since these are company logos, is there anyway not to allow them to resize? I just foresee some companies maybe upset that a portion of their logo is cutoff.

Secondly, what option is available if a thumbnail is badly cropped? Is there a way we can overwrite just the thumbnail?

If the above is not possible, I guess I will need some way to change the location of the thumbnails to above the summary. Same width as the column in other words.

please kindly read the ja thumbnail plugin: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-thumbnail-plugin-inline-image-gallery/

you can put the “{jathumbnail off}” inside the content of article:

Each JA Extension allow you choose one of two options to render thumbnails: cropping or resizing. pls try re-configure again
