That’s right, just when you thought it was time to sit back and relax the Joomla team has announced the imediate availability of J 1.5.13 Security release.

So what are you waiting for boys and girls?
    Go get it!

    Thanks instantinlaw,

I somehow managed to update half of my sites to J 1.5.12 and here is another upgrade. Actaully it gets a bit time consuming to upgrade on live site. Take backup, clone the site, upgrade, check for inconsistencies if any and then upgrade the live site.

will start upgrading again now :p

    Regards

    I hear you drarvindc.
I always do a Joomlapack backup before I do anything major to my site now. I learned that the hard way when I upgraded to J 1.5.12 and I only had a backup that was taken about 10 days before. I had to use that backup and I lost 10 days worth of changes to the site.

Upgrading in small increments isn’t so bad, but I’m worried that I will have to rebuild the site when we go to J 1.6 that would really suck.

    Happy upgrading 🙂

I’m very concerned about this as well. Especially with a couple sites that run virtuemart.

    Yes nefar,
Most of my sites run VM too. Seeing that the developers of VM are slow to impliment changes, I’ll probably continue to run 1.5 while I rebuild the site on my dev server to run 1.6. I’m planning on changing the template then too so I’m looking forward to quite a bit of work.
