May 4, 2011 at 12:10 am #163554Hi,
I understand that you all are waiting for K2 for Joomla 1.6 to be released before taking the template out of beta, however there are many problems that plague this template and it’s making it hard for those of us who run 1.6 to effectively have a functioning website. Is there any update as to when we’ll be getting updates to fix many of the problems plaguing members? We pay of money for the templates (and we do appreciate your hard work), but we also expect timely updates as well. It’s been almost 3 months since the last update.

May 6, 2011 at 7:07 am #390083Hi.
I have checked with our developer. Because K2 hasn’t been released yet so we set template is Beta version. But true that it is stable. We don’t have a plan to update it before K2 release.
Do you see any bugs when using it? Please tell us for helping.

The following are just some of the issues I continue to encounter while using this template (some of which I’ve fixed)
Mega Menu – Submenus show same modules all across – http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/mega-menu-submenus-show-same-modules-all-across/
error using JA-Thumbnail on localhost for JA Community Plus – http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/error-using-ja-thumbnail-on-localhost-for-ja-community-plus/ (just fixed)
MegaMenu – Second Level Child Item Overwritten by Arrows – http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/megamenu-second-level-child-item-overwritten-by-arrows/ (just fixed)
bullet justification problem – bullet lag – http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/bullet-justification-problem-bullet-lag/ (just fixed)
I understand the solutions to these problems are available but some of us aren’t that quite comfortable making such edits to our files (which I’ve learned to just go ahead and do). On top of that, these issues should be addressed in future updates, not necessarily for us to fix on our own. I hate to sound like a complainer but these issues are why I asked about updates, not so much K2 integration.

May 11, 2011 at 7:35 am #390732I have checked with the team developing this theme. They told that they don’t have plan to update it before K2 release. Sorry for this inconvenience but I think we should wait for this.

May 11, 2011 at 6:02 pm #390823Thank you so much for checking. I do appreciate it. I’ll wait for the K2 release for J 1.6 in hopes that some of the bugs will be addressed. The Mega Menu feature is awesome, I just wish there was a solution now lol.
🙂
