October 14, 2009 at 6:14 am #145179Using JA Teline iii…
How do I get rid of the default Frontpage after installing the JA News FrontPage Module and the JA News Module at the Content Top and Bottom positions. I still have the “Welcome To The Frontpage” section in the middle.
visit http://www.sagenexus.com to see what I mean.
While we’re at it, how do I change the Icon and Page title so they don’t say “Welcome to the Frontpage” ?

Hope this could help you:
In the Administration Control Panel, click Menus/magazine *, in Menu Item Manager, click on Home that will lead you to Menu Edit Page. In there, at the first class of parameters (Basic), set all the fields to 0 (zero) if you want to hide the default FrontPage.
To change the Page Title, go to the last parameters (System). Here you can see the default Page Title and you can change it to whatever you want. You got it?
P/s: I think you place the JA News Module in wrong place. It should be in content-bot instead of bottom.
Have fun!

October 14, 2009 at 11:43 am #320476Thanks!! I had to understand that you meant the Home Item is in the MainMenu which was set up as the default menu.
Your prompt response was also much appreciated.

</blockquote>Hi,
For some reason this is not working for me, default frontpage is still showing. What am I doing wrong?
