i have been finding this forum very helpful. I want to add a top black bar to my website the runs the length of the site, like this.
This is what i currently got, it doesn’t run the length of the website
I know it is a code thing so any help would be great,

Add a new block on top of everything in the top position
<blockquote><blocks name=”top” style=”xhtml”>
<block name=”newblock”>newblock</block>
</blockquote>Then add the following to your template.css file:
<blockquote>#ja-newblock {
background-color: #000
}
</blockquote>Thats it . . . full width background color
The modules must be published inside the “newblock” position
