HELP!!!
After installing Joomla 1.5.4 the top buttonbar (main menu) is gone!
The left buttonbar (main menu) is still there. Anyone?

Horizontal Navigation

JA Purity provide embedded dropdown horizontal navigation system. There’re 2 style of dopdown menu: JA CSS Suckerfish and JA Moomenu (Template parameter: Horizontal Navigation Type). Follow these steps to enable the dropdown horizon navigation.

1. Goto Module Manager, click a mainmenu module (Eg: Main Menu).
2. Select “No” for the module “Show Title”.
3. Select “hornav” for the module “Position”.
4. Select “Yes” for parameter “Always show sub-menu Items”
5. Select “List” for parameter “Menu Style”

Is there a reason there is no ‘menu position’ for the ‘top_menu’ in any of the subscription templates? I had the top menu workign fine in ja_purity, but then I wanted to try ja_nerine, ja_pollux and ja_zibal, but there is no menu location. Everything I read says it’s “built-in” but I can’t get it to show up, and my error log tells me that the ‘foreach’ function building the mainnav bar is invalid.

I’m stumped, and there’s no documentation on this.

You can have both top and main menu – just ensure you have both with different names and set in the different positions “left” and “hornav”.

Also both enabled/published.

just strange that in the first place it automaticly was there, and now I have to duplicate it…
But it works, so I’m not complaining….
