    Greetings Community:
How do we configure the (dropline) colors for menu items in the Top (magazine) Menu when adding items to components?

When adding more items, they seem to always default to Black. How & Where can we change to some of the other available colors?

Thanks in advance for your help…

** Just found this thread, also with no response.. Can The JA Team please respond?

    Hi codestream,
just posted the same question (http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/section-colors-in-the-jazin-created-menu/) and now I find yours: did you ever solve this problem?
    Thanks!

I think that menu items are controlled by javascript files, you can find them on js/menu folder of the ja teline iii folder.

OK, I found it out now!
I have the “JA News 2 module” installed and even if It’s NOT enabled the use of the “Section Ids” in the “Module Parameters” affect the color of the (magazine) menu.
Just write the section IDs followed by a column and the color, like this:
    9:red
    10:green
    11:deepblue
    13:orange
    14:cyan
    12:lime

Note: It works even if the JA News2 module is NOT enabled.

Thus, this is good for (magazine) dropline menu colors BUT it does not work for the color of the headings formatting (titles) in the different section. I still see the typo for these different section headings all in Black. Please let me know if you solve this.

    cheers

Ok Ok!! Solved also the second part!
For the sections’ headings (Articles titles) to be colored with the same color of the section they belong to they need to be LINKABLE. You can make them linkable by setting the parameters section by section or (better) setting the parameter “Title linkable” in the Global Configuration (top right button in the Article Manager) to YES.
This is faster than changing the relative h1, h2 … tags in the css.

    see you.
