assuming joomla 1.5 version in admin <extensions><template manager><ja-purity> look for the parameter
called “menu type” – select the menu you require – yours is probably set to main menu.

Ok try this:

Edit file “ja_vars.php”

line 45: 0 = disable top menu ….. see file comments for other options.
and / or
line 49: change variable to the menu you want in “top menu”

Lines 22 – 66 provide a bunch of variables for the template ( I haven’t tested them all myself yet)

i have the same problem but with Ja Iris template . i was unable to find “ja_vars.php” in my template folder. how that file called in Ja iris?
