You are correct… it’s all in your template.css file. I recommend the following book for learning CSS codes. Click here for the link[/url]

    Hi jwellman,

Thanks for taking out time and suggesting that. But I am not a developer and am not interested in the advance css knowledge. We’re working on a communicty website. I am more keen on joomla specific or Scenecio specific css guide.
    any help is much appreciated.

    regards

Depending on which menu you are using, find the CSS folder for your specific menu. Your choices should be ja_cssmenu, ja_splitmenu or ja_transmenu. Then choose the menu’s css folder. It appears that you are using the trans menu on your site. If so, then choose the ja.transmenuh.css folder. The menu font colors you are trying to change are color coded. For instance FFFFFF is the code for white. Look for the code under “Styling your menu” and change the color as needed. Here is a link that may help you with your color code choices. Click Here

Hi. I could get exactly there by trial & error. Thanks for your attention and for reply.
    It’s all fixed now.

Yay! You did it. 🙂 Sometimes the best way to learn is by trial and error. Good luck with the site!

Hi I just replied to this link in another template – but this link is for senecio which I also use. I have not sat down to play with it – but this is the general idea provided by one of the mediators of the forum.

Like you my CSS knowledge is nil but possibly if you look at this and come back to it (like I have) you might be able to benefit from this. I think you have to code the specific menu item id’s in the template CSS code to get them to be specific colors or fonts for you. OR if you are changing the whole thing maybe you won’t need to use specific menu item id#s and this example might help point you to where in the css template file the menu characteristics are controlled. Hope this at least steers you right….
