I’d like to make a little topmenu like the one in the demo version of Wysteria — i’ve made a menu with four links, but when I try to publish a mod_mainmenu to position user 3 or 4, it won’t go horizontal — how do I make this work? please help :confused:

i don’t have the menu up, of course, but like the demo, I’d like it to be above the search field in the top right-hand corner of the page. it seems that the mod_mainmenu option of “horizontal” is not working…? could it be something wrong inside my joomla installation or is it something I’m unaware of within Wysteria?

Hello vebmoore.
Have you read the help files that follow the template? There should be some great help there. Other than this, I am not sure if I understand where you want to place this menu? ( either that or I don’t understand where you start having trouble? )

Basically ( I think ) you need to ( when editing the main menu module ) choose “flat list” or something for the display mode. Try to poke around a bit with this setting.

yes I’ve read the user guide… also, i’ve tried “flat list,” “horizontal,” and “vertical” display modes for the menu just to be sure… none of it seems to work. I want to place this menu up in the top right corner of the sight, user3 or 4 module positions, but again, it will not show flat/horizontal, — it makes a vertical menu like those within the main sections of the site, such as right or left module positions… any other suggestions?
