Hello. I am facing a problem as I do not know to hide the automatic top navigation bar. My customer wants a design style like that https://www.lme.com/

You can see a background image and the navigation bar inside the top image. The page is as well not full width.

I tried to make same setup and found out this could be done with header bloks. So I added a header blok like this https://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-templates/uber-template/acm-configuration#header-type

I copied style from header style blok 6 – but got halloween style and deleted the image and text.

Now, what can I do to remove top navigation bar?

Additional problem… I just addet a background image by adding a module on header-bg as chosen i acm, but it is not shown..

Can you not simply delete or unpublish that top image/block you created?

What is the background image? .. .How is it supposed to look?

Perhaps you can throw together a screenshot mock up of how things are supposed to display
    (for visual reference purposes)

Hello Tom, thank you very much for helping me!

see attached 3 screen shots. 1 showing the navigation I would like to be able to remove. It is the default navigation and not a module assigned navigation.

I need to make 2 examples for the customer, see var-1 and var-2.

Now I “removed” the default navigation with styles – display:none – but I guess there would be a better way?

Else I try to figure out the rest now I could remove the menu.

Is the result I see now the result you wanted?

I thought you were looking to keep the “lower” main navigation menu.
