I am reposting. Can someone at Joomlart pleazse help. My problem is listed below.
–> How do i restrict the main menu navigation to show only the first level of links. I need to have nested menus for the breadcrumb to work. Please help

EG: Under the First Level (Arkady Lvov) there would be a link to (portfolio) but i don’t want to show it. the result of this actually working would be that when a visitor is in the portfolio the breadcrumb would link back to the parent (arkady lvov)

I am not sure… I think this will work. Create the submenu items in the menu. Use the link it shows in the link box on the left as the link for your portfolio on the Arkady Lvov page. Now go back to the menu and unpublish (not delete or trash) the link for the submenu item.
I just tested this out on my menu (magazine) and it worked fine in the breadcrumbs. There is probably a better way to do this, but this is the only way I know.

Sorry that didn’t work for you :((. I will try a couple of other ideas and get back to you. Maybe someone else has suggestions too.
sleepy, i totally appreciate your efforts to help. What are the changes that one of the template designers or representitives from this site will know the answer to this one. if it were a regular menu in this template i would control the begin/end values for the menu and move on with my life 😉
