I am trying to edit the Topbar right social icons links on the JA Company and when i copy the code and put in the module then the code disappear. I have edited the text filter under the global config to no filter but still the code disappears. any hints on how to bring the icons back in the module?

Kindly open system > global configurations > default Editor > None.
save settings and now open the custom html module > add the code> save and check.

You can add your social pages URL in the buttons href so when you click on them it will redirect to your social profile pages.

Link style needs to be changed. It is best web design practices to never lose your viewer by leaving the website to an outside link.
If you use target="_blank" open new window or tab and lose focus.

its the editor that remove the code, this is why its suggestion to set the editor to NONE.
Its up to user to use target blank or not 🙂
