I’m trying to upgrade from Teline 2 to Teline 4.
I’ve followed all the steps.

Uninstalled the old template, installed T3 framework and all the plugins and modules neccessary, installed the new template (Teline 4), updated joomla to 1.5.22.

Still my homepage it’s a total mess – ja news fp is not working, not overlaying the images
and ja news pro is not taking control of the frontpage.

Just to start somewhere … I suggest Module manager > JA News Frontpage:
Select position sl1-l
In Module Parameters set Module Class suffix to newsfp (preceded with a space); Profile Selection default; Content Source Joomla; Theme Selection default; Number of Articles 7; Number of Featured Articles 1.

When this is working, you can go on playing around with other options.

Hi silviuantone,

I think you should install Teline IV QuickStart, and cross check between your current site and the QS to get the correct configurations. Steinar’s guide is also useful for JA News Frontpage, thanks steinar :).
