Totally new to Joomla — would like to figure out how to implement the extra modules, a full-width wrapper (to embed forums, for example), and so forth for JA Utahia. Please forgive me if I sound totally stupid but I have maybe two days’ worth experience with Joomla and can use all the help I can get.

As soon as I saw your site I subscribed — excellent work by all, definitely worth the money!

You don’t need to implement an extra module to wrap other contents. You could create a menu item using wrapper type. To make it full-width, go to your “Site module list” and make sure that you don’t allow any module in left position display in the new wrapper page.
