    Greetings,

First off, great product. It was well worth a subscription just for this extension alone.

However there is a serious shortcoming which I would ask be fixed (unless of course Im doing something wrong).

It seems that assets uploaded and the srcs replaced on the site are not tracked properly. I would assume that content which has been uploaded would be stored as a reference in the database and the tag would be replaced with the s3 location.

However, in cases of UGC content like profile images, these are not uploaded immediately and the plugin just goes right ahead and replaces the location improperly. I feel the plugin should check uploaded references and should not replace the location until the asset has been transfered to s3.

This would make it much more useful as the component/plugin then knows what assets are in what locations. Once uploaded, the plugin can then use the s3 reference.

Could this be something we could expect?

    p.

    Hi Paz,

Welcome to JoomlArt. As i said above in earlier reply in other thread in this forum, the component is due for added features and it would be a breeze, removing the glitches it may have.

As on now, upload sync can be managed by turning on the cron job, which you can configure in the bucket settings. May be you can try to decrease the time for cron job?

Let me know if it helps. I will surely pass on the request to the developers and lets see, if something can be done about it.

    Regards

    Arvind
