I have published the tranmenu module on Antares, and notice that the top and bottom border have gaps above and below the first two menu items. The other menu items have not affected it, and the rest of the border is fine. I also notice that when I set the -blue tag, the blue is interrupted in this area.
Anyone have any ideas? It looks a bit amateurish at the moment.

April 7, 2007 at 1:13 pm #217431This seems to be a bug in Antares. As you can see the gaps disappear/grow when resizing the browser window. So this is not connected to the menu items. I remember seeing this somewhere already. Will report back!
April 7, 2007 at 1:14 pm #217432OK that would be great.

April 7, 2007 at 1:46 pm #217436I think you have to change the size of the background image to allow wide browser windows in fluid layout.
The idea has already been mentioned here: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/border-problems/April 7, 2007 at 2:01 pm #217437Thanks bernhar. I think you may be right, I just have to work out how to do that now (suppose i can just use GIMP)
One more thing however, I notice that when you hover over the last menu, the drop-down submenu seems to cause the far left border to disappear. Any ideas on that one? I think it may be unrelated to the original issue.

April 7, 2007 at 2:09 pm #217438I see it in IE but not in Firefox. This is surely a problem of the Transmenu in this module position. Don´t know this transmenu but you should look there instead of modifying your template “to death”. 😉
Did you test with other such javascript menus already.April 8, 2007 at 9:46 pm #217487No, this is the only menu I’ve tried, other than the standard one. I notice that when I put it in user3 the drop-down menus don’t work.
Although i’ve done some modifications to the template, they were not really changing the menu or those module positions.
Perhaps I need to just use a different template, although I can’t find any others on this site that suit my needs as well.
