Hello,

Just for those who are looking for where to find and translate “LAST UPDATE”.

JA didn’t include it in the .ini language file, so you will have to encode it yourself.

1) Look for /language/en-GB/en-GB.tpl_ja_telineiv.ini.

2) Copy that file into /language/(your new language)

3) Change the file to (your new language).tpl_ja_telineiv.ini.

4) In that file, add the following line.

LAST UPDATE=(your translation)

5) Save and it should now reflect. If you are using 2byte characters, make sure to “save as” UTF-8.

Hope this helps.

I hope JA would take note of this as it’s a very common issue already.

In which file is the place to translate selected phrases and words.
I added the following lines to filexx.XX.tpl_ja_telineiv.ini., cleaned the cache and nothing.

LAST_UPDATE=”my translation”

Version: Joomla 1.7

LAST_UPDATE=”my translation”
The first problem solved LAST_UPDATE (LAST UPDATE) without underscore.
