June 26, 2015 at 12:55 pm #207887Hi guys,
as the template is in english as well as the joomla Installation (i’ve used your quickinstall-pack) all the default (i guess it’s joomla Default and not the template components) values such as titles of forms or buttons or “Read More”-Link are in english.
How can i change that? I Need all that stuff in german. Is everything of that hardcoded, so i will have to Change the css files or anything like that? Or is there a more simple way like installing a language pack?

June 27, 2015 at 6:26 pm #575690ok, i’ve got the translation of the contact form – that was easy actually.. but the “read more” are still in english.. is there a chance to change that as easy as the words of the contact form?

June 27, 2015 at 6:42 pm #575691Hi
I suppose you are referring to the read more into articles category module at features-intro-2 position you can override it going to
extensions > Language Manager > Override > New override
and search for TPL_MOD_ARTICLES_CATEGORY_READ_MORE_TITLE and translate it

June 27, 2015 at 7:39 pm #575693hmmm.. yeah.. but there is a little problem.. if i do it with overrides it works fine for the english site.. if i search for TPL_MOD_ARTICLES_CATEGORY_READ_MORE_TITLE in german site – i don’t even find it..
the solution of the all titles in the contact form was to switch the site language to german..so, if i let the site language in german, i can’t override the “read more”?
but if i switch to english, i will have to override every word, so also the contact form words? this will mean, that it will be not possible anymore to have a multilingual site, right?

June 27, 2015 at 7:47 pm #575695I thought you want to avoid to install second language.
anyway you can have 2 languages and override the specific string , clearly some of them are not present because customized by joomlart for specific module and template
so solution is to move specific language module file ?nside your new language folder
Example:
Now you have languageen-GBen-GB.tpl_ja_nuevo.ini with translation in english , you need to copy the file en-GB.tpl_ja_nuevo.ini into your languagede-DEfolder and rename it de-DE.tpl_ja_nuevo.ini and make your german translations in it

TPL_COM_CONTENT_READ_MORE_TITLE ?ilhl Friendilhl
