Hello,

I am trying to translate the component from the back-end but it doesn’t save any translation. I checked my language folder and there was no language file there for the component so I copied the default English one to the directory but it sill doesn’t save.

I have tried to edit the file directly but it is not being used.

Any ideas?

Translated a few strings to test but they are still being shown as they were in front-end. I will try to delete every cache and see if this changes.

This is happening with a number of strings. For example:

POSTING_AS=”مسجلا دخولك بالحساب”
LOGOUT=”خروج”

COMMMENTS=”التعليقات”
VOTE=”تصويت”
REPLY_COMMENT=”رد”
QUOTE=”إقتباس”
CLICK_TO_REFRESH_CAPTCHA=”Click to refresh captcha”
SHOW=”عرض”

And of course, I tried translating strings in the /administrator/language and the /language directly with no success.

#1. About language string. Are you sure it’s corrected ?
#2. Please also check into template of JA Comments and make sure that part using JText instead fixed text.

Please update FTP than i can try to take look your site.
